MILILANI MAUKA (HawaiiNewsNow) – Traffic detours and delays are coming to Central Oahu.
Monday, Oct. 7, the city will begin a year-long rehabilitation project repairing 13 streets in Mililani Mauka.

The city said the project is aimed at enhancing driving conditions and roadway visibility. Work includes resurfacing, manhole adjustments, and pavement striping.
Hours will run from 8:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. Monday through Friday, excluding holidays.
The city says the contractor will only work on one part of the project area at a time to minimize impacts on the public. Residents and local traffic, such as delivery services, trash collection, and emergency services, will be allowed during construction.
“No Parking” signs will be placed along roads one week before work begins to notify the public of upcoming work areas.
